Norman J. McCallum or Norm McCallum

I have recently met a heck of a nice fella. Problem is, he's like nailing spagetti to the wall. I'm setting up this blog in hopes of providing a medium by which folks can share their experiences/stories and we can tell if someone is for real or not. Norman J. McCallum. Norm McCallum.

Norm walks around town claiming to be in the market for a BIG home and has a letter from his lender saying he can purchase a $20mil home. He rolls around in a black Bentley that the license plates trace back to Anthony Gallo (NOT Norm), who owns several dealerships in the Houston Area. I called and talked to someone at the dealership who confirmed that "It's okay for Norm to be driving Mr. Gallo's car." I asked him if Norm has the finances to buy a multi-million dollar home and he said that's something he couldn't answer.

So...I go to Google and try looking up Mr. McCallum. I turn up 2 companies, Sigma Holdings (Sigmagroup.biz) and Macanusa. Sigma's website looks super highend but when you really get down to brass tacks it's generic and offers zero information. When you do a domain search and find out who owns the site, it's some guy in Georgia that is linked to some of Mccallum's business dealings. Doesn't smell right.

I found one article about Norm on Entrepreneur.com where the title is "Maumelle Landowner in Fraud Probe." I can't follow all the cronology of the names and changes but it looks like a mess.

Norm is rumored to be purchasing a house in Texas worth over $10,000,000 but has not been able to put any money towards the deal claiming that his funds are on their way from over seas and being scrutinized by the government before they are released to him. He says this is normal when BILLION dollar deals are coming from over seas. Yea, well I also think it's normal that a guy driving a Bently and doing "billion dollar deals" has access to at least $100k to show good faith on buying a home. To take it even further, he apparently has told contractors that are looking at homes for him that he will wire them money after they perform their inspections. Again...what guy doesn't at least have a credit card number to give them? How does he buy gas for his Bentley? I guess he wires money to the gas station?

The address for Macanusa comes back as 19822 SKYCOUNTRY LN, HOUSTON, TX, 77094. That is also the address listed on McCallum's driver's license as his HOME. When you go to the Harris County Tax Office you find that this house is owned by Duetche Bank.

I can't make any sense of this. I don't care one way or another if the guy has two nickels to rub together or if he flies around on his private jet. I'd just like to know if anything he says and does is real or if I'm wasting my time listening.

If you have any input, I'd love it if you'd leave an anonymous comment on here so me and the next people doing their due diligence on him can help figure this thing out.

Thanks.
